Did you know? 80′s pop star “Kim Wilde” supported Michael Jackson on the European leg of his 1988 Bad world tour (Click HERE for more on the tour). Unusually, footage from her pre show performance on Michael’s stage was sued in her video “You came”.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE BY JERMAINE JACKSON

I’ve read a few pages of the book at the airport and it’s pretty pleasant! AK

You Are Not Alone by Jermaine Jackson – review

What was the singer really like? Michael Jackson’s brother tells the tale

“Michael Jackson went to his grave pop’s greatest enigma. He was arguably the most famous man in the world, but his own world seemed so utterly alien – the theme-park mansion, the plastic surgery, the rumours of paedophilia, the children conceived by artificial insemination, the erratic behaviour, not to mention the almost inhuman degree of talent – that it was impossible to work out what the man at the centre of it all was actually like. There’s a chance that, after living 41 of his 51 years in the public eye, Jackson was as confused as anybody else. Yet two memoirs – one by his elder brother, the other by his former personal manager – claim to offer a definitive picture.

GLEE MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE EPISODE

Michael Jackson Glee CLICK HERE

“From the way FOX has been promoting “Glee’s” big Michael Jackson tribute episode, you’d think the network could’ve spared an extra few minutes in its schedule to allow the writers to tie up the myriad plotlines introduced by each musical number.

Instead, the outing fell just short of the greatness it aspired to, instead feeling more like patched-together songs with little narrative thread to connect them. But that’s not to say we didn’t enjoy it.

Basically, there’s no way to not enjoy yourself when listening to the discography of Michael Jackson. So we were primed to like the big MJ tribute. Since the amount of effort put in was obvious we can’t say we were disappointed, exactly — there was just something missing. Like a coherent narrative thread? (Though we feel that way about this show a lot.)

DOCTOR CONRAD MURRAY RELEASED ON BAIL? MICHAEL JACKSON CASE

The doctor convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson’s death asked a judge Friday to release him from jail pending his appeal.

Dr. Conrad Murray, who is serving a four-year jail sentence, said in a declaration that he should be released either on his own recognizance or on bail with electronic monitoring.

He said he is not a danger to society, will not flee the area, and wants to work to help support his seven children.

His lawyer, J. Michael Flanagan, said in the motion that Murray knows he cannot work as a doctor but would find other employment. He suggested the sentence and Murray’s mode of confinement is extremely severe for a man with no prior criminal record.

MICHAEL JACKSON DANCE – WEEKLY ROUND UP! SEPTEMBER WEEK 3

This week we have been dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Captain Eo”, from his 3 – D movie filmed for Disney back in the 1980′s. Today we danced to Michael’s classic “Billie Jean” – certainly a challenging song to master properly.

Captain Eo is very very similar to the Thriller, when you take a closer look. In fact you can see moves from all of his videos and choreography of the time, including “Beat it” but partularly “Thriller”

I remember watching Captain Eo at Euro Disney (as it was known then) and the moment when Michael appeared on the screen in 3 – D was quite magical – the audience went wild – it was quite fun actually …

Michael Jackson concert stage set

One of Michael Jackson’s most famous live stage stunts was the “Cherry picker” (or the “Crane”). Kenny Ortega, in “This is it” announced that this was an iconic moment to see Michael back on his crane. I began writing this article only to realise that it is going to be LONG – so i’ll split it up and start with Michael crane on the History tour!

Mind is the Magic Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson wrote a song for the illusionists “Siegfried & Roy“. He was a big fan and went to many of their shows. The duo used animals and magic to create the biggest and highest grossing Las Vegas act ever and Michael Jackson would go on to invite them to all his own tours and even write a song especially for them called “Mind in the magic”! Michael would go on to use part of the song in his “This is it” concert show.

Michael Jackson and Diana Ross

Michael Jackson was a major part of the World Music Awards 1996 in Monaco. Not only did he perform his “Earth Song” (twice, after he was unhappy with the first performance!) but joined Diana Ross on stage, collected awards and was a big part of Diana Ross’s performance, just sitting in his chair. Michael was the focus of most of the camera shots on the night and it’s interesting to take a look at some of the fun aspects of the award show.

Michael Jackson Dance July

Well done yesterday to all the Michael Jackson Class. We danced to a new version of Michael Jackson’s “You Rock My World” and added a little bit of Military moves too… a lot of fun … remember that practice makes perfect and it only takes about 3 weeks to get the hang of it. Ignore how you feel about your progress for the first 3 weeks, if you focus and work hard and listen, you will always be doing a lot better than you think
